bankruptcy law with boat as asset in fl?

i am filing a chapter 7 and understand that i have to give up most arrests including my boat. what i want to know is if i give up the boat do i also have to give up my boat engine. the only title that i have is on the hull and trailer. the boat isn't insured and i don't owe anything on the boat. can i then keep the engine?

1. Legally you have to list everything on the bankruptcy schedules and they will auction it off. Are you suggesting that, because there is no engine listed on the title, you think you could hide the engine from the court/bankruptcy trustee, and not list it on the schedules/disclose it to the court? That would be bankruptcy fraud. If you got caught, they'd probably dismiss your bankruptcy case and there's a chance they'd prosecute you for bankruptcy fraud (fairly serious federal crime as far as things go).
